First date.. While being spoiled is lovely, I think a low key first date is better! Whether its going for a walk along the beach and getting ice-cream, or going for drinks, or for a cheap and cheerful meal. Its easier to relax and get to know each other if its low key I think :) Being spoiled can come later! ;)
