19.03.11 - 365 days of being single Its all a bit like Im in a Rocky montage, posting recent profile pics, write and re-write my profile, but just havent managed to get to the top of those stairs yet, perhaps I need to hire Burgess Meredith and his bike to shout at me a bit. The whole dating site thing seems to be a complete misnomer, are there any men out there who actually want to date, and I dont mean move in and get married within 30 seconds, but just meet up, go out, have a few drinks and a laugh and see how it goes. So, why I am still single after all this time, am I some scary needy clingy woman. In short, no. One, I work from home and when Im not working, Im working on redecorating my Victorian cottage, so I dont get out that much to actually meet people and two, the majority of men who have taken the time to contact me are either just unsuitable or only after one thing. There may be plenty of fish in the sea, but i keep getting red herrings Im a happy, confident, smart and funny woman. I have a good job and a lovely house. I know exactly what I want out of my life and refuse to be messed around. So if going on dates isnt your intention, please dont waste my time. As to what Im looking for in a man, well, if you can make me laugh or intrigue me with your intellect, youll be off to a good start
