I am a 68 year old retiree (if their is such a word?), enjoying life to the full because I feel I am perhaps 40. My temperament is temperate, I dont do flaps and hysterics, and my attitude towards life and all people is totally positive, theres always somewhere and someone who can enrich my life. I travel a lot (have been overland to India and Kashmir, and spent one year on a teacher exchange in Perth, Australia), read a lot, write a lot. What distinguishes me from the crowd? Nothing in particular. My positive and negative traits: Positive: optimism, Negative: intolerence of dorks and bigots.
The type of person I should like to meet is someone totally independent, not hung up about having a "female" about the place to do the cooking, washing and ironing. Someone with their own house/accommodation and to whom I can call and say "Hey, Buddie do you feel like a meal out tonight? " and he says "No, sorry - Ive got something else planned! Can we meet up tomorrow? Absolutely super !!
